Check that the XSCF BB control cables are correctly connected and secure.

After connecting the XSCF BB control cable, use the hook-and-loop fastener to bundle
the cables together and secure them to the rear cable support.

referring to the record that you made before the start of maintenance.
26.6 Restoring the System
This section describes the procedure for restoring the system after installing the XSCF
BB control cables. The restoration procedure differs depending on the maintenance
type as follows:

Active/Hot maintenance

Active/Cold maintenance
■
Inactive/Hot maintenance
■
Inactive/Cold maintenance
■
System-stopped maintenance
26.6.1 Active/Hot maintenance
1.
Return t o the op eration of the XSCF firm w are replacefru command to confirm
that th e chassis has been incorporat ed into the system.
For details, see "6.1 Incorporating an FRU into the System with the replacefru
Command."
2.
Execute the s w itchscf command to switch the stand by XSCF to the m aster
XSCF.
Execute the command if the chassis requiring maintenance has been switched to
the standby XSCF.
3.
Close t he rack d oor.
26.6.2 Active/Cold maintenance

Connect all t h e power cords to the PSU ba ckplane unit or power supply un it
of th e chassis requiring main t enan ce.
