► Press MENU to enter the printer menu and go to SYSTEM CONFIG MENU, then change
the WAIT TIMEOUT setting to a minimum of 40 seconds.

Interface is disabled.
► Check that USB interface is set to enable.
MacOS version incorrect.
► Use MacOS version 9.0 or higher that supports USB connection. For earlier versions,
connect printer via a network.
USB cable does not meet specifications.
► Switch to a specification Ver.1.1 USB cable.
Configuration procedure was not correctly followed or cancelled.
► Configure again from the beginning.
USB cable is disconnected or faulty.
► Reconnect or try another cable.
A USB hub is being used.
► Connect the printer and computer directly.
Cannot print.
Printer is switched off.
► Turn the printer on.
USB cable is disconnected or faulty.
► Reconnect or try another cable.
A USB hub is being used.
► Try connecting the printer and computer directly.
