HBA Information Menu (Command Line Option -i)

To create, modify, or delete an adapter port alias:
1. From the Main Menu, type the number for the HBA Information option, and
then press
ENTER
.
2. Type the number for the HBA Port for which you want to change the Port
Alias, and then press
ENTER
.
3. Type the number for the HBA Port Alias option, and then press
ENTER
.
4. The Port Alias Menu appears. Here is an example:

Port Alias: 4G Port 1
2: Cancel
Enter 0 to return to the Main Menu
Enter Selection:
If you select a port number from the Port Alias Menu, the CLI prompts you to
enter a Port Alias as follows:
Port Alias: _
To keep the current port alias, enter the number for Cancel, and then
press
ENTER
.
To change the port alias, type a new name, and then press
ENTER
.
To delete an existing port alias, leave the field blank, and then press
ENTER
.
HBA VPD Information
(Command Line Option -l and Reserved Word “vpd”)

With QLA/QLE24xx and QLE81xx adapters only, if you select option 4, the Vital
Product Data (VPD) information appears:
Adapter instance number, model, port number, adapter port name (WWPN),
and port ID
Product Identifier
VPD-R tag (VPD ReadOnly field) (if available)
Part Number (adapter model)
Serial Number
Misc. Information (for example, PCI and PCI-X speeds)
Manufacturing ID
EFI Driver Version
Firmware Version
