3) Lead out the harness, and disconnect the
shorting connector [4]; then, connect the
connector [5] of the Control Card IV N to
the copier’s connector [6].
4) Push in the harness and the connector into
the copier, and install the Control Card IV
N to the copier using the screw [7].
5) Connect the copier’s power plug, and turn
on the power switch to check the
operation of the Control Card IV N.

IV. INSTALLING THE
CONTROL CARD IV N
1) Remove the screw [1] from the right side
of the upper rear cover, and detach the
face cover [2].
2) Cut off the face plate [3].
