Is the drum unit set securely?
Is the developing assembly set
securely?
Is the primary charging wire broken?
Is the developing assembly locked to
the drum?
Does the blank exposure lamp remain
off while the scanner is moving
forward?
Does the scanning lamp remain on
during copying operation?
Are the connectors on each PCB
connected securely?
Is there continuity between high-
voltage cords connected to each
charging assembly?
Remove and set the drum unit once
again.
Remove and set the developing
assembly securely.
Spring the charging wire.
Check the developing assembly
locking lever.
Check the DC controller PCB.
Make checks as instructed under “The
scanning lamp fails to turn on.”
Connect the connectors securely.
Replace the high-voltage cord.
Check the high-voltage power supply
(primary/transfer).
