Is the waste toner box mounted?
Is the waste toner box full?
Is the mouth of the waste toner box soiled?
Are the connectors to the waste toner sensor
connected securely?
Replace the waste toner sensor. Is the
problem corrected?
Install the waste toner box.
Replace the waste toner box.
Clean it. If the dirt cannot be
removed, replace the waste
toner box.
Connect the connectors
securely.
End.
Replace the DC controller
PCB.

Execute service mode ‘409’ (control panel
check). Does the Add Paper indicator turn
on?
Check the wiring from the
sensor lever and each sensor to
the DC controller PCB; if
normal, replace the sensor.
Check the wiring from the DC
controller PCB to the control
panel PCB; if normal, replace
the control panel PCB.
Replace the DC controller
PCB.
