Chapter 2 Operation of Diag.
Exit Sensor (DI-2)
CAUTION: The Fuser is very hot. Take extremely care not to get
burned when carrying the followings.
1) Turn on the power and enter the Diagnostic Mode.
2) Execute the DI-2.
3) Push the Side Button to open the Front Cover.
4) Push the button and lift the Output Tray Cover and push it
toward the back of the printer.
(Caution: Fuser is very hot. Do not touch the inside of the
Fuser.)
5) Lift up the levers on both ends of the Fuser.
6) Move the Actuator on the Fuser to check the sensor.
Check the number on the control panel is counted up.
7) Press the “CANCEL” key to stop the test.
8) Reseat the Fuser, and close the Output Tray Cover and Front
Cover.
