You don’t have to clear a function to prevent it from being graphed. You can select the
functions you want to graph.

Press M once or twice (depending on
the cursor’s location) and then press

Press ƒ and then select 8:Clear
Functions. When prompted for
confirmation, press

8D
Go to function 1 or to the last defined function,
respectively. If the cursor is on or past the last
defined function, 8D goes to function 99.
