Multifeed errors occur frequently.
Does the document satisfy the requirements
described in Precautions in "Paper Quality" (page
42)?

Use the document that satisfies the requirements.
For the document requirements, refer to "2.2 ADF-Loaded Documents" (on page 42).

With the Multifeed Detection set to ON, do the
settings configured satisfy the requirements to
detect multifeeds correctly?

Configure the settings for detecting multifeeds correctly.
For the multifeed detection conditions, refer to "Multifeed Detection Conditions" (page 45).
Specify the multifeed detection range, if needed, by referring to "Detecting Multifeeds" (page
