Making changes to custom databases on a Pocket PC OS device
Creating a new record
1. From the List or Read View of a database, tap New.
A new blank record opens in the Edit View.
2. Make changes to the database record.
3. Tap OK. to save the new record and return to the database List
View.
Editing a record
1. From the List View of a database, tap the the record you wish to edit.
The record opens in Read View.
2. Tap anywhere in the body of the record.
The record opens in Read View.
3. Make changes to the database record, then tap OK. to save your
changes and return to the database List View.
Deleting a record
1. From the List View of a database, tap the individual record you wish
to delete.
2. Tap Record|Delete.
The record is deleted, and you are returned to the database List
View.
Attaching and editing an image
If you wish to attach an image to a record or to edit an image that is
already attached, do the following:
1. In the Edit or Read View of a database record, tap Image, or tap in
the Image field of the record.
The Edit Image screen appears.
2. Select Pen or Eraser from the tool drop-down.
3. Select Thin, Medium or Thick from the style drop-down.
4. Use your stylus to make changes in the edit image screen.
5. Tap Cancel to cancel your changes and return to the record in Edit
View.
6. Tap Clear to erase the image.
