Device Configuration section
5. Make changes as necessary to the Device Configuration section,
which contains these device-specific fields.
Note: Lotus Notes included a Note field that Pylon uses in
different ways with different applications. The Note field on a
filter tells Pylon how to process the Note field when it is synced
from Lotus Notes to your device. You can specify a size to which
the Note field will be truncated, all the way from the Louts Notes’
limit maximum of 32,000 characters down to only 50 characters.
You may also specify that the Note field not be synchronized at
all.
Note On Pocket PC OS, whenever you view the contents of the Note field
in an application on your device, it is marked as changed, even if
you actually make no changes. With sync Action set to “Synchronize
the files”, can sometimes lead to unexpected results in the
corresponding record in Lotus Notes.
Category Sync: Categories are a Lotus Notes feature that can be
used with Pylon to simulate multiple folders or multiple
databases within a single device application.
