Troubleshooting: Accessing Pylon Configuration document

Problems accessing
your configuration
document
Problem Possible cause/steps to take
When attempting to open
your configuration document
in Pylon, you encounter an
Execution Security Alert dia-
log box.
The Execution Security List is part of the
Domino Security model, and cannot be
bypassed without user intervention. The
Execution Security Alert dialog box is alert-
ing you that you are about to perfom an
operation using an object signed by a per-
son or organization that Lotus Notes does
not trust, or with an organization that does
not have cross certifcation with your Dom-
ino Domain.
To solve this problem, click Trust Signer
when you encounter the dialog box. You
should only have to do this once.

When attempting to open
your configuration document
in Pylon, you encounter a
Create Cross Certificate dia-
log box.
The Create Cross Certificate dialog box is
alerting you that you are about to perfom
an operation with a person or organization
that Lotus Notes does not trust, or with an
organization that does not have cross certif-
cation with your Domino Domain.
To solve this problem, click Yes when you
encounter the dialog box. You should only
have to do this once.
