Step 12 Remove the tape from the circuit-breaker On/Off switch.
Step 13 Switch the circuit breaker On/Off switch to the On (|) position.
Note The requirement for maximum torque applied to the power or ground Kepnuts must be 8 in-lb when the
power or ground lug is not present.
This completes the procedure for installing the DC power supply into the Cisco ASR 1006 Router.

Supply
This section provides information about removing and replacing the following power supplies in a Cisco
ASR 1004 Router:
AC power supply
DC power Supply
Removing the AC Power Supply from Cisco ASR 1004 Router
Because of the power supply redundancy, there is no need to power off the Cisco ASR 1004 Router
before removing one of the AC power supplies.
