3. Use the Port Vlan Mode menu to select the Switch Port Mode. The factory default is
General.
• Ge
neral. The interface is in general mode and is not a member of a private VLAN.
• Host. The
interface belongs to a secondary VLAN and, depending upon the type of
secondary VLAN, can either communicate with other ports in the same community (if
the secondary VLAN is a community VLAN) and with the promiscuous ports or is able
to communicate only with the promiscuous ports (if the secondary VLAN is an isolated
VLAN).
• Pro
miscuous. The interface belongs to a primary VLAN and can communicate with
all interfaces in the private VLAN, including other promiscuous ports, community
ports, and isolated ports.
4. Click Apply.
Private VLAN Host Interface Configuration
The private VLAN host interface configuration screen allows you to configure the primary and
secondary VLAN IDs for the host association mode.
To configure the private VLAN host interface:
1. Select Security
Traffic Control Private Vlan > Private Vlan Host Interface
Configuration.
2. Select the port(s) to conf
igure.
