To create a new Global Copy pair, choose Create from the Select Action pull-down menu.
The DS Storage Manager will guide you through the process to create a new pair.

If you select an existing Global Copy pair (see Figure 20-4), then the Select Action pull-down
menu will show additional actions you can perform with the selected volume pair:
Delete: Use this action to delete a Global Copy pair.
Suspend: Use this action to suspend a Global Copy pair.
Convert to synchronous: Use this action to convert a Global Copy pair into a
synchronous Metro Mirror pair.
Resume: Use this option to resume a suspended Global Copy pair.
Recover Failover: Use this action to change a secondary device into a primary
suspended device while leaving the primary device in its current state.
Recover Failback: Use this action to switch back to the primary site after a failover.
Properties: Use this action to view the volume pair properties, including the number of
out-of-sync tracks.
