31.15 TPC for Replication GUI
This section describes the graphical user interface (GUI) that is used to communicate with the
the Replication server. Additional details can be found in the documents mentioned at the
beginning of this chapter.
TPC for Replication provides a graphical user interface (GUI) to manage and monitor any
Copy Services configuration and Copy Services operations. This GUI is Web browser-based
and does not rely on any other product such asTotalStorage Productivity Center and IBM
Director.

The GUI is simply called through an Internet browser like MS Internet Explorer or Mozilla
Firefox, is intuitive, easy to use, and performs very well. The panel structure is not too deep
and makes it possible to quickly transition to any application through a hyperlink-based menu.
Figure 31-14 on page 488 displays the TPC for Replication GUI and its components, used
between the client on the user machine and the server component on the server machine.
