PPRCOPY DDNAME(DD03) DELPAIR -
LSS(X'00' X'00') -

PPRCOPY DDNAME(DD04) DELPAIR -
LSS(X'00' X'00') -
PRI(X'2060' AAGXA X'03') -
SEC(X'0002' AAVCA X'03')
For each single Global Copy pair you must specify a corresponding PPRCOPY command.
The syntax for the ICKDSF command is slightly different from the equivalent TSO command.
Again, the DDNAME parameter is required because the Global Copy primary volumes are
usually online with the system that issues the application I/Os. And this is the same system
where the ICKDSF job is executing.
ICKDSF, in contrast to TSO commands, does not propagate all commands and their results
to the z/OS SYSLOG. This can be an advantage over TSO commands. TSO commands
always appear in the SYSLOG with their results, which is valuable if you want to track the
TSO commands that you issued interactively in ISPF 6 or from the TSO READY state.
Example 26-41 shows a SYSLOG fragment with the output lines caused by the ICKDSF job
that deletes the four Global Copy pairs. You can see in the example that when the volumes
are online, ERP issues the state change message IEA494I.
