9.2 DS CLI and DS SM - commands and options
This section summarizes the commands and select options you can use when managing
FlashCopy at the local and at the remote site.
9.2.1 Local FlashCopy management
The commands you can use as well as the displayed panel actions and options you can
select when working with the DS6000-provided interfaces DS CLI and DS SM for local
FlashCopy management are listed in Table 9-1.
Local FlashCopy refers to the situation where the FlashCopy is local as opposed to a remote
FlashCopy. For a discussion of the characteristics of a remote FlashCopy refer to Section 7.5,
“Remote FlashCopy” on page 59.
