Simplex—prints on one side of the interleaved sheets.
Duplex—prints on both sides of the interleaved sheets.
6 Select the
Paper type for the interleaved sheets.
7Click
Apply to accept the settings and continue making
selections from other tabs or click
OK to close the Properties
window.
8Click
OK to begin printing.
Inserting Sheets on a PC
The options sheet insertion unit allows you to insert pages from a
different input cassette within a document. You could use this
feature to insert a different type of paper (colored or card stock,
for example) between the pages of a proposal or manual to create
section dividers or tabs.
You can insert sheets anywhere in your document, and choose
whether the sheets should be blank or printed.
You cannot use sheet insertion in combination with the N-Up or
booklet features. Additionally, the collation option must be set to
Collated.
1 Choose
Print from the File menu.
2Click
Properties.
3Click the
Paper properties tab.
4In the
Secondary Paper section of the dialog box, select Insert
Paper
.
5 To use paper from the optional Inserter unit, change
Source to
Inserter Unit.
The driver displays the Inserter Unit Paper Size dialog box.
6 If you’re using paper from the Inserter Unit, select the paper
size.
7 Indicate whether the inserted sheets should be printed by
selecting one of the following options from the drop-down
list:
Blank—inserts blank sheets.
Simplex—prints on one side of the inserted sheet.
Duplex—prints on both sides of the inserted sheet.
