PRINTING
The GL-1020 controller supports printing from Windows
®
,
Macintosh, and Unix applications.
The GL-1020’s PCL6 and PostScript Level 3-compatible print
drivers allow you to define document properties from the
orientation and print quality of your pages, to complex finishing
options such as booklet layout and multi-position stapling.
The PCL6 printer driver also supports documents created for
PCL5e devices.
You can enhance printed documents with image overlays and
watermarks. Then, by using the Proof Print feature, you can check
the output by printing a proof copy before printing an entire multi-
copy job.
You can also use the private print feature to hold confidential
documents until you enter a personal document password at the
copier.
Other features include scheduled printing and print profiles, which
allow you to set specific property settings that can then be assigned
to document profiles. This means that future jobs can be configured
with a click of the mouse.
