n Cassette is out of paper—means one of the copier drawers is
out of paper. This drawer may not be the drawer the printer is
using for your job.
n Printer door is open—means the cover on the copier is open.
n Printer requires attention—means the copier requires
immediate attention. Although this message alerts the service
technician of a problem, it also can occur if, for example, the
output paper tray is empty.
The following methods are available on the Notification tab
n Popup dialog box—causes the Document Monitor to popup
up a message when a selected event occurs.
n Audible (Beep)—sends a beep to your computer’s speaker.

n List—identifies all items that access the controller:
Document Notification, Printer Status and Print Queue.
n Change Rate—sets the frequency at which the Document
Monitor retrieves and displays the selected item of
information.
n Restore Defaults—sets a predefined frequency for the
selected item.
