CHECKING DEVICE STATUS
TopAccess opens with the end-user Device tab, which includes a
picture of the device.
TopAccess Device Status
This tab shows the following information about the controller:
n Device status, which can be “Ready” or a number that
identifies an alert condition. Errors are in red and warnings
are in yellow.
n Device name and location.
n The contact name and phone number for the person
responsible for managing the controller.
n Paper trays on this device (media size, media types, cassettes
and their status).
n List of optional components installed on the device.
n Administrative message.
At any time, the end-user may click
Refresh to update the
TopAccess status information.
FINDING AND CONNECTING TO DEVICES
Both end users and administrators can locate and connect to all
other GL-1020 devices on your network.
