■ The precedence for priority mapping is IP Precedence or DSCP Priority, and then
Default Port Priority.
■ IP Precedence and DSCP Priority cannot both be enabled. Enabling one of these
priority types automatically disables the other.
When mapping layer 3/4 priorities to COS values through the web interface or CLI,
the following parameters can be configured:
■ Enable Priority Services – The current operating status for mapping for layer 3/4
priorities to COS values. The default is disabled.
■ IP Precedence – IP Precedence mapping.
■ Differentiated Services Code Point Mapping (DSCP) – DSCP mapping.
Web Interface: Enabling Priority Services
1. Open Switch Config ⇒ Class of Service ⇒ Layer 3/4 Traffic Prioritisation.
2. Select Enable Priority Services,
3. Select IP Precedence or DSCP.
4. Click Save.

The following example enables IP Precedence service on the switch:
