11. Press on the Save screen.
Note: When you press , you will be prompted to confirm
whether you want to replace an existing definition if it already exists.
For immediate use the new definition will need to be exported to the
Production screen where it will be selected (see "Exporting an
attachment definition to the Production screen" on page 7-33).
Otherwise, the definition will be available the next time it is selected
on the Production screen.
Creating or amending a TCP/IP attachment configuration
The Default for the TCP/IP attachment configuration is as follows:
• Emulation pull-down list - IPDS
Note: An asterisk (*) is displayed to the right of the Attachment pull-
down list for any modification made to any of the settings on the screen.
To create or amend a TCP/IP attachment:
1. Select the Definitions tab, the Attachment tab, then the TCP/IP tab.
The TCP/IP screen groups the TCP/IP host connection related settings.
2. Press the button to create a new attachment or choose an
existing Attachment from the pull-down list.
