60-31 Developing unit 1 motor rotation

1. Record the displayed error code and message.
2. Press the RESET button to clear the error code.
3. Set the printer to ready.
4. If the problem persists, power the printer off then on.
5. If the problem persists, call for service or advice quoting the
error code number and message.
60-41 Developing unit 1 stirring axis rota-
tion alarm
1. Record the displayed error code and message.

At this point during the replacement of Developer [R2a], the dis-
charge bottle should be set.
1. Open the empty bottle cover at the rear of the printer.
2. Remove the empty developer mixture bottle.
3. Place the empty bottle at developer discharge port [R2a].
4. Press RESET on the touch screen.

At this point during the replacement of Developer [R2a], the dis-
charge lever should be open.
1. Lift the lock lever of Developer [R2a] to unlock the discharge
lever.
2. Pull the discharge lever out to open it.
3. Press RESET on the touch screen.

At this point during the replacement of Developer [R2a], the dis-
charge lever should be closed.
1. Push in the discharge lever of Developer [R2a].
2. Close the lock lever to secure the discharge lever.
3. Press RESET on the touch screen.

(emergency stop)
The interlock for developer unit [R2a] is not set.
1. Re-position developer unit [R2a] to correctly trigger the
interlock.
2. Press RESET on the touch screen and then set the printer to
ready.
60-52 Developing unit interlock [R2b]
(emergency stop)
The interlock for developer unit [R2b] is not set.
1. Re-position developer unit [R2b] to correctly trigger the
interlock.
2. Press RESET on the touch screen and then set the printer to
ready.
