Billing record logging
To edit an existing profile, click its Name. To add a new profile, click Add New Profile. In
either case you will see the Add/Edit external billing records server profile page.
Settings
Type
Primary: Defines a primary server. The service controller sends a copy of each billing
record to all primary servers. See Record transmission overview on page 8-43.
Backup: Defines a backup server. Backup servers can be assigned to act as a backup to a
primary server by using the Failover box.
Profile name
Specify a name to identify the server profile.
Hostname/IP address
IP address or hostname of the server.
Port
Port on which to send the HTTP post.
URL
URL to which the HTTP post will be sent.
Transmission timeout
Amount of time that the service controller waits for an HTTP response for a transmitted
record. If the response is not received within this period, this is considered as a failed
transmission.
