D. Provision the APs
The two APs need to be provisioned so that they can find the service controller that will
manage them across the routers. Before connecting the APs to the network, provision each
one as follows:
1. Reset the AP to its factory default state: Power-on the AP without any Ethernet cables
connected, and press and hold the Reset switch until the status lights blink three times.

2. Using a crossover cable, connect your computer to Port 1 on the AP.
3. With your computer connected to the same subnet as the AP, open the AP management
tool In a Web browser at https://192.168.1.1. The controlled mode home page opens.
4. Select Provision at the bottom of the home page and then select the Discovery tab. (The
Provision button is only available if the AP is in its factory-default state.)
