Attribute definitions
RADIUS attributes are used to define a number of features for the public access interface.
Attributes can be retrieved from a third-party RADIUS server or defined directly on the
service controller. Supported RADIUS attributes are divided into two categories:
Site attributes on page 9-11
User attributes on page 9-17
Administrator attributes on page 9-27
The maximum attribute size that the service controller can receive in a single RADIUS
request is 4096 bytes. However, some networks may limit RADIUS request size to around
1500 bytes because they discard UDP fragments. In the attribute descriptions, a string is
defined as 1 to 253 characters.
