Support for port redundancy
You can set up redundancy between two links on the same module or two
different modules. Note that port redundancy is supported between different
types of modules. For example, you can set a 10Base-T port on an 8260
Ethernet 24-Port 10Base-T Module to be a redundant port for a 10Base-FB
port on the 8260 Ethernet 10-Port 10Base-FB Module.
When designing an Ethernet segment consisting of the 8260 Ethernet 10-Port
10Base-FB Module, you must use the following
