Using the
Physical Port List
panel, you may configure a
name
for each LAN port.
To configure a particular entry, select the entry and press the Enter key. A
pop-up menu as shown in Figure 148 on page 259 will be displayed which
allows you:
•
To configure a name for the physical port.
•
To configure a new protocol for the port. This option is only available for the
WAN ports.
•
To change the configuration of the protocol on the port. This option is only
available for the token-ring and WAN ports. It is not applicable to Ethernet
ports.
Note: This pop-up menu is the same as that displayed when selecting
Physical Port Protocol Parameters
from the
Port Menu
.
