Description
Communication breaks for 5 sec or
more. (The communication is monitored
at all times.)
The state of the sensor remains un-
changed even after the pick-up motor
has been driven for 2 sec or more.
The number of belt motor clock pulses is
below a specific value for 100 ms.
The number of slip clock pulses is below
a specific value for 100 ms.
The number of delivery motor clock
pulses is below a specific value for 200
ms.
The output of each sensor in the ab-
sence of paper is more than a specific
value.

C. RDF/ADF Self Diagnosis
Caution:
1. When the self-diagnosis mechanism has turned ON, you may reset the machine by turning OFF and
then ON the copier’s power switch.
2. You may make copies even while the RF remains out of order by placing originals on the copy paper.
