3. Points to Note When Installing the
Multifeeder Pick-Up Roller
When installing the multifeeder pick-up roller q,
make sure that the side with a cross w on the collar
is toward the rear.

4. Removing the Separation Pad
1) Open the upper right door.
2) Remove the two screws q, and remove the
separation pad w.
Caution:
Take care so that the spring on the separation
pad assembly will not fly off.

5. Removing the Multifeeder Spring
Clutch
1) Remove the upper rear cover and the lower rear
cover.
2) Remove the three screws q, and shift the cord
guide w.

3) Remove the main motor. (See “Removing the

4) Remove the three screws e, then, remove the
clutch stop plate y and the clutche u.
