(c) Installing the carriage drive wires to the wire pulleys
Ball terminal
Winding the wire to the wire pulleys:
1. Fit the 3-mm ball terminal in the center of the
wire into the hole of the wire pulley. The wire
should be positioned so that the hook at its end
faces upward with its crimped side.
2. Wind the wires onto the wire pulleys on the front
and rear. The number of turns to be wound are as
follows (see the illustrations below):
· One turn on the inside of the boss.
· Six turns on the outside of the boss.
After winding the wires on the pulleys, fix the
wires with wire holder jigs to prevent them from
unwinding.
