create stpd <stpd_name> Creates an STPD. When created, an STPD has
these default parameters:
• Bridge priority—32,768
• Hello time—2 seconds
• Forward delay—15 seconds
enable ignore-stp vlan <name> Configures the switch to ignore the STP
protocol, and not block traffic for the VLAN(s).
This command is useful when multiple VLANs
share the same physical ports, but only some of
the VLANs require STP protection. The default
setting is disabled.
enable stpd {<stpd_name>} Enables the STP protocol for one or all STPDs.
The default setting is disabled.
enable stpd <stpd_name> port {<portlist>} Enables the STP protocol on one or more ports.
If STPD is enabled for a port, Bridge Protocol
Data Units (BPDUs) are generated on that port
(if STP is enabled for the associated STPD).
The default setting is enabled.
enable ignore-bpdu vlan <vlan-name> Configures the switch to ignore the BPDU
protocol on a VLAN.
