Removing a firewall rule
Youcanremovesomeofthefirewallrulesifnecessary.
However,youcannotmodifysomeofthedefaultTraffic
rules that appearin the list. You canview the settings
of these rules by using the View option.

Donotremoveadefaultfirewallruleunlessyouarean
advanced user. Removing a default firewall rule can
affectfirewall functionalityandreducethesecurity of
your computer.
To remove aTraffic rule
1
In the Norton 360 main window, click Settings.

In the Settings window, under DetailedSettings,
click Firewall.

On the TrafficRules tab, select the rule that you
want to remove.

Click Remove.

In the Confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
To remove aProgram rule
1
In the Norton 360 main window, click Settings.

In the Settings window, under DetailedSettings,
click Firewall.

OntheProgramRulestab,intheProgramcolumn,
select the program that contains the rule that you
want to remove.

Click Modify.
Toremovealltheprogramrulesthatareassociated
with the program, click Remove.

In the Rules window, select the rule that you want
to remove.

In the Confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
