In the NetworkProxySettings window,do the
following:
1 Ifyouwantyourbrowsertoautomaticallydetect
network connection settings, under Automatic
Configuration, check Automaticallydetect
settings.
1 If the proxy server requires an automatic
configuration URL, under Automatic
Configuration, check Useautomatic
configurationscript. Type the URL (such as
file://C:/Proxy.pac) in the URL box.
1 Ifyournetworkusesaproxyserver,underProxy
Settings, check Useaproxyserverfor your
HTTPconnections.IntheAddressbox,typethe
URL or IP address of your proxy server, and in
thePortbox,typetheportnumberof yourproxy
server. Youcan specifya valuefrom 1 to65535.
1 If your proxy server requires a user name and
password, under Authentication, check Ineed
authenticationtoconnectthroughmyfirewall
orproxyserver. Type the user name in the
Username box and password in the Password
box.
