However, the Network Security
Map displays the name ofthe
device as NEW if itmeets the
following conditions:

NetBIOS name
1 Thedevicehasafirewallthat
is enabled
Youcanchangethedevicename
in the Edit Device Details
window.
Shows the name of thenetwork
adapter manufacturer of the
device
Adapter Manufacturer
The adapter manufacturer's
name is based on thephysical
address (also known as Media
Control Access address or MAC
address) of the device.
