When you remove an individual device, the online
devices appear again the next time you open the
Network Security Map. However, Norton 360
permanently removes the offline devices.
To remove anindividual device

In the Norton 360 main window, click Settings.

In the Settings window, under DetailedSettings,
click MyNetwork.

IntheNetworkSecurityMaprow,clickConfigure.

In the NetworkSecurityMap window,do one of
the following:
1 To remove a device that is on your network, in
the network map, click the device.
1 To removeadevice thatyou manuallyadded, in
theNetworkDetailsdrop-downlist,selectTrust
Control, and then click the device.

On the left side of the NetworkSecurityMap
window, under TotalinNetwork, click the minus
symbol.

In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
To purge theNetwork SecurityMap

In the Norton 360 main window, click Settings.

In the Settings window, under DetailedSettings,
click MyNetwork.

UnderNetworkSecurityMap,intheNetworkMap
row, click Purge.

In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
Viewing the status of your wireless network
You can view the status of your wireless network in
the NetworkSecurityMap window.The Network
Security Map displays the status of your wireless
network as secure or not secure. A secure network
requires astrong wirelessencryption. Ifyour wireless
network is not secure, you can turn on encryption on
your wireless router.
