Excluding Full Trust devices from the Intrusion
Prevention scansavesthe scantime andimproves the
network speed of your computer.When you exclude a
device that is set to Full Trust, Norton 360 does not
scananyinformationthatisreceivedfromthisdevice.
TheFullTrustdevicesthatareexcludedfrom Intrusion
Prevention scan are added to Intrusion Prevention
exclusion list.
Whenadeviceonyournetworkattemptstoinfectyour
computer, AutoBlock stops all access requests from
this device. If you add this device to the Intrusion
Prevention exclusion list, Norton 360 removes the
device from the exclusion list.

EnsurethattheIPaddressofthedevicesthatareadded
to Intrusion Prevention exclusion list never changes.
If you find that any of the devices that you excluded
fromtheIntrusionPreventionscanisinfected,youcan
purge the saved exclusion list. When you purge the
exclusion list, Norton 360 removes all the trusted
devices from the exclusion list.
