Turning on or turning off Alert on Poor Stability
When you turn on the AlertonPoorStability option,
Download Insight prompts you to select a suitable
action when you try to download an unstable file.
WhenyousettheDownloadInsightFullReportoption
to Never,Download Insight doesone of thefollowing:
1 Does not prompt you to selecta suitable action for
any type of file that you download if the Alerton
PoorStability option is turned off. TheDownload
Insightwindow does not appear whenever you try
to open any downloaded file.
1 Prompts you to select a suitable action when you
trytodownloadanunstablefileiftheAlertonPoor
Stabilityoptionisturnedon.Norton360identifies
unsafe files as security threat and removes them.
Bydefault,theAlertonPoorStabilityoptionisturned
off.
To turn onor turnoff Alerton PoorStability

In the Norton 360 main window, click Settings.

OntheIntrusionandBrowserProtectiontab,under
DownloadIntelligence, in the AlertonPoor
Stability row, do one of the following:
1 To turn on AlertonPoorStability, move the
On/Off switch to the left to the On position.
1 To turn off AlertonPoorStability, move the
On/Offswitch to the right to the Off position.

Click Apply, and then click Close.
