Adding files and folders to a backup set
Youare notlimited tobacking upthefiles thatNorton
360 automatically detects and places into its file
categories. You can add files to the set of files to be
backedup,andyoucanexcludefilesfrombeingbacked
up as well.
Norton 360 lets you select a file or folder from your
computerthatyouwanttoincludeinyourbackup.The
Addorexcludefilesand folders option on the What
tab in the ManageBackupSets windowprovides you
the options to add files and folders to a backup set.
You can also right-click a file or a folder and add it to
a backup set using the Norton 360 option on the
shortcut menu. The shortcut menu is available after
you configure your backup and when the Manage
BackupSetswindowandtheRestoreFileswindoware
closed. When you add a file to the backup set, Norton
360 lists the information in the window that appears
whenyouclickAddorexcludefilesandfoldersoption.
You can view all the files and folders that you added
to the backup.
You canalso removean additionfrom thelist ofitems
that is included or excluded frombackup by using the
Removefromlist option.This option is available in
thewindowthatappearswhen youclickAddorexclude
filesandfolders.

Toaddfiles toyouronlinebackup,youmustconfigure
the MeteredBroadbandMode optionin the My
NetworkwindowtoNoLimit.TheMyNetworkoption
is available in the Settings window.
To add afile toa backupset

In the Norton360 main window, click Backup,and
then click ManageBackupSets.

On the What tab, click Addor excludefilesand
folders.
