MP tray settings
display ON/OFF
Turn this setting ON if you want the “MP tray setting”
screen to be displayed whenever the “MP tray” key is
pressed in the “Basic” tab.

Paper type (Set
fixing temperature)
Sets the fixing temperature for each “custom” paper type
(custom 1 – custom 8). Select “Normal” when you are used
thick paper. The setting will cause paper to be fed more
slowly than with the “Low” setting, thereby allowing greater
heat to be applied to the paper during the fixing process.

for 2-sided copying
Sets whether or not each custom paper type (custom 1 –
custom 8) will be available for use in 2-sided copying.

Auto sleep time Sets the amount of time that will elapse after copying, or if
no operation is performed, before the auto sleep function
engages and turns the copier OFF.
* It is recommended that you try to set a longer time
interval before auto sleep function engages if you use the
copier frequently, and to a shorter time if there are long
intervals between use.

Auto low power time Sets the amount of time between the point that copying ends

Copy eject location Sets the location for the ejection of finished copies.

turned on to the copier.

Touch panel sound
ON/OFF
Sets whether or not the touch panel will emit a “beep” sound
each time a key is touched.

Silent mode ON/OFF The copier can be switched to a silent mode, which shortens
the length of time that the laser data writing motor
continues to spin after each copy job is finished. Turn the
silent mode ON if the noise of the motor bothers you in any
way.
