A.C.S. adjustment
Perform the following procedure to adjust the sensitivity level that
the copier will use to differentiate between color originals and
black and white originals when the A.C.S. (Auto Color Selection)
mode is selected.

Display the “Copy default” screen.
(See “Accessing the copy default settings” on
page 7-67.)

Select “Auto Color Correction” [“Auto colour Correction”]
under the “Default menu” column on the left side of the
touch panel and then press the “Change #” key.
The “Auto Color Correction” [“Auto colour Correction”]
screen will be displayed.

Press the “W” key or the “X” key, as desired, to move the
arrow on the scale and adjust the sensitivity level.

NOTES
Selecting a lower value to have more originals detected
as color originals, and a higher value to have more
originals detected as black and white originals.
If you want to quit the displayed setting without
changing it, press the “Back” key. The touch panel will
return to the screen in step 2.

Press the “Close” key.
The touch panel will return to the screen in step 2.

Press the “Close” key once again.
The touch panel will return to the “Default setting” screen.

Press the “End” key.
The touch panel will return to the contents of the “Basic”
tab.
