Install the printer driver of the Windows 95/98 for the Alternative driver from
the following folder in the CD-ROM.
• PCL5e
\DRIVERS\PCL5E\WIN95_98\(Language)\DISK1\
• PCL6
\DRIVERS\PCL6\WIN95_98\(Language)\DISK1\

❒ When setting up options, you should access the

Printer Properties
]
tab from
Windows. You cannot access the
[
Printer Properties
]
tab from an application.
A Click
[
Start
]
, point to
[
Settings
]
, and then click
[
Printers
]
.
The
[
Printers
]
window appears.
B Select the icon of the printer you want to use by clicking it. On the
[
File
]
menu, click
[
Properties
]
.
C Click
[
Accessories
]
tab.
D Select any options you have installed from the
[
Options
]
group.
E Click
[
OK
]
.

Important
❒ We recommend to install the PCL 5e printer driver on your Windows 3.1x
system. Under Windows 3.1x system, you might get some unexpected print
results with the PCL 6 printer driver.
A Close all the applications that are currently running.
B From the
[
Program Manager
]
, click
[
Run
]
from the
[
File
]
menu.
C In the
[
Run
]
window, click
[
Browse
]
.
D Select the CD-ROM drive in the
[
Drives
]
list.
E Select the file titled
[
SETUP.EXE
]
.
F Follow the instructions on the screen.
