Replacing the Toner Cartridge
When
D
is displayed, it is time to replace the toner cartridge.

Important
❒ If you use the toner cartridge other than that recommended, a fault might oc-
cur.
❒ When replacing the toner cartridge, do not turn off the power switch. If you
do, your settings are cleared.
❒ Always replace the toner cartridge after the machine instructs you to replace
the toner cartridge.
❒ Do not use used toner. This will damage the machine.

❒ You can still make about 150 copies after the
D
appears, but replace the toner
early to prevent poor copy quality.

Do not incinerate used toner or toner containers. Toner dust
might ignite when exposed to an open flame. Dispose of the
used toner containers according to local regulations for
plastics.

Do not eat or swallow toner.

Keep toner (used or unused) and toner containers out of reach of
children.

parts and consumables. We recommend you only use these
specified supplies.
