In the case of a dual power feed, connect the power cords in their original positions by
referring to the record that you made before the start of maintenance.
Switch the mode switches of BB-ID#00 and #01 to Locked mode.

For a building block configuration (w ith crossbar bo x)
Switch the mode switches of BB-ID#80 and #81 to Locked mode.

Execute the sho w status command to confirm that the CPU m emory unit is
operating normally after m aintenan ce.
If there is no problem, nothing is displayed.
13.
Execute the sho w h ardconf command t o check the hardware configuration
and t he status of each component.
Confirm that no asterisk (*) is displayed in front of each component.

Close t he rack d oor.
7.6.3 System-stopped maintenance
When the system is configured without a hardware RAID
1.
Connect all the pow er c ords to t he PSU backplane unit o f the chassis
requiring mai nten ance.
For details, see "6.5.1 Installing the power cord."

Return t o the op eration of the XSCF firm w are replacefru command to confirm
that th e chassis has been incorporat ed into the system.
For details, see "6.1 Incorporating an FRU into the System with the replacefru
Command."
For a single-chassis configuration, you do not have to incorporate the chassis.
Proceed to step 4.
3.
Execute the diagxbu command to diagno se the cro ssbar cables.
Diagnosis is performed when the system board of the chassis connected with the
crossbar cables is not incorporated into the physical partition, or when the
physical partition into which the chassis is incorporated is powered off.
The example below specifies the following:
00: BB-ID of the chassis to start the diagnosis
01: BB-ID of the destination where the chassis to start the diagnosis is connected
