Device Default Settings
To return to device default settings use delete startup-config command at the privileged
mode prompt (#), and reboot the device. Once device reloads – it is set with the default settings.

Enabling Remote Management
1.
Enter the
enable
command at the console to enter the Privileged EXEC screen mode as follows:
console>enable
console#

Ensure that the management station is connected to the same network as the CMC. For more info see
the
Dell Blade Server CMC User's Guide.

Enter the
config
command at the console to enter the Configuration mode as follows:
console#config
4.
Ensure that the switch has obtained an IP address using the
show ip interface out-of-band
command.
console#show ip interface out-of-band

Subnet Mask.................................... 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway................................ 10.27.22.1
