is the familiar form of the NFI statistic for which the baseline model requires the
observed variables to be uncorrelated without constraining their means and variances.
Points that are below the line have NFI

> 0.900 and those above the line have

< 0.900. That is, the adjustable line separates the acceptable models from the
unacceptable ones according to a widely used convention based on a remark by Bentler
and Bonett (1980).
