Figure 24-1 shows the functional block diagram of the S3C2440A AC97 Controller. The AC97 signals form the AC-
link, which is a point-to-point synchronous serial interconnect that supports full-duplex data transfers. All digital
audio streams and command/status information are communicated over the AC-link.
