Enter Added Translations
1. Get the DOSS order number of the upgrade. Call the regional CSA to
perform the steps in this section.
2. To enable DCS, set the
DCS
field on the System Parameters-Customer
Options screen to

3. Administer the other required translation data using the forms listed under
Distributed Communications System (DCS) in
DEFINITY Communications
System Administration for Network Connectivity

Save Translations
1. If the system is high- or critical-reliability, type
status spe
and press Enter
to verify that the standby SPE is refreshed and that the standby disk is in
service.
2. Enter
save translation [spe-a or both] disk
and press
Enter. This
command instructs the system to take all translation information in
memory and write it to the disk(s).
